FORGET ME NOT
Kelsey Kepple and Linda Margaretic

One “Fish Tacos” Monday night, some years back, Kelsey and Linda sat in a quiet corner of the old Pangaea café and sang together for the first time.  There was an unmistakable magic. The song was “Forget Me Not” by The Civil Wars.  Since that time the songs and the magic continue. Come enjoy the soulful and lovely harmonies of Forget Me Not.

RED BRIDGE RAMBLERS
Johnene McDonald, Jenn Kimball, Dean Ortel, and Gary Broeder

The Red Bridge Ramblers are a Quincy, CA based string band playing an interesting musical mix of Bluegrass and Americana. The band consists of long time Quincy residents Johnene Mc Donald on fiddle and Jenn Kimball on string bass. The group is rounded out with locals Dean Ortel on guitar and Gary Broeder on mandolin. A year of playing together has seen them honing their craft at local events including the Plumas Americana festival, farmers markets, parties and other special  events .

To book The Red Bridge Ramblers for your next musical event, be it a wedding, party or house concert, email [email protected] or  call Jenn Kimball 530-394-7851

THE BACK 40
Tommy Miles, Christina Russo, Chris Retallack, Nathan Retallack, and Doug McClure

The Back 40 is an alternative country and rock band available for venues and events in Northern California and Western Nevada.
In mid-2008, multi-instrumentalist Tommy Miles got some friends together in Quincy, California to begin working on a new group originally envisioned as a classic and alternative country act with a repertoire based on the music of classic country artists like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Emmylou Harris, along with country-influenced rock and the music of new artists from the Austin music scene and other non-mainstream sources. The original lineup was seven musicians with two female vocalists among them. As the group has evolved, it has settled into a solid format that can perform electric and acoustic shows in several combinations of two to five musicians, bringing drums in for electric shows.
The band’s enjoyment and appreciation of the music, of each other, and of the audience is obvious and infectious, and the crowd gets to ride the wave of energy and fun that the band members experience every time they get together to play.
