For the months of March and April 2024, Patti’s Thunder Cafe is exhibiting a show by local artists
~Pondside Nesters~
located in Quincy. We specialize in creative and unique birdhouses. Our houses are made almost 100% from recycled woods and metals. Most of the wood is from in and around Plumas County and are between 60 and 100 years old. The hole size used in most of our unique houses is 1 1/2in. This hole size accommodates a wide variety of small birds common in mostareas.
PondSide Nesters also builds custom birdhouses. We have built many historical buildings within Plumas County such as: Bassetts Station, Jim Beckwourth Cabin, Quincy Lumber, Quincy Feather Bed, Intorf Lodge, Sterling Sage, Sierra Valley Home Center, Twain Store, Indian Valley Barns, GreenVille Fire Hall, Meadow Valley Social Club, Graeagle OutPost and the Sierra City School House. We have also created replicas of houses that have been lost in the Camp and Dixie Fires. PondSide will also refurbish your old favorite broken birdhouse to make it liveable once again.
