Plumas Arts is pleased to announce a gallery opening reception Friday September 1st from 5pm to 7pm at 525 Main Street in Quincy.
For the month of September, the Plumas Arts Gallery is featuring the work of Tina Thorman aka Trixie Hollyhox
"Tina is originally from the Sacramento area and has been a Plumas County resident since 2015. She enjoys hiking the surrounding wild and scenic areas, finding inspiration and references as she explores. She has always enjoyed fantasy fiction and admits that when she looks at a beautiful snowscape, or forested path, she imagines fantastical creatures or characters emerging from the scene before her. She loves to include unexpected charm in her work—something that makes the viewer smile, or some touch of warmth or comfort. Some of her art may have a dark side, too, but even those pieces include a hint of light or hope.”

Come by the Plumas Arts Gallery during regular hours to view the artwork. The gallery is open Wednesday through Friday 11am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.
