APRIL 3 JAZZ NIGHT
AT THE TOWN HALL THEATRE
Plumas Arts is pleased to welcome dozens of talented high school jazz musicians from our Plumas County Schools to our to the 2019 edition of our annual jazz night concert that will take place on Wednesday, April 3rd at the Town Hall Theatre with a 7pm start time.
Attending this year are Greenville and Portola Senior High School Bands with their instructors Jim Norman and Emily Haver respectively. Quincy music teacher Siobhan Markee will bring both the Junior and Senior High School Jazz Bands.
For more nearly two decades Plumas Arts has relished the opportunity to bring together jazz bands from around the county high schools for a concert in the Town Hall Theatre. Music Instructors say that the students really enjoy this performance because it is the only time the bands for all the schools perform together without being in competition. As such, there is an enhanced sense of camaraderie that shines through the entire performance as they cheer each other on.
Admission donations will be gratefully accepted at the door. Funds will help to support the music programs at the schools performing.
