Come support the Quincy Farmers Market as Lost Sierra Food Project, Feather River Food Co-op, and Plumas Arts team up to bring you this year’s Contra Dance Fundraiser, hosted by Leslie Mink with music provided by a fabulous group of live musicians.
Everyone can dance and no experience is necessary. Beginners are invited at 6:30 p.m. with the dance set to begin at 7 p.m. All are welcome but the dancing is best suited for those ages 8 and older. Refreshments will be provided by Feather River Food Co-op, we recommend bringing a water bottle.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale and all proceeds will go to benefit bringing local produce and vendors to the re-established Quincy Farmers Market.

The Quincy Famers Market was established in 2000 by the Feather River Food Co-op in response to a strong community need for fresh, local produce. For nearly two decades, it served as a hub for connecting local farmers and artisans with the Quincy community. The market took a hiatus in 2019, and the COVID-19 pandemic stifled plans to relaunch it.
In early 2024, Feather River Food Co-op and Lost Sierra Food Project began the process of reviving the Quincy Farmers Market with overwhelming support from community members and organizations alike.
The market will be held in the spacious backyard of Rich Bar Taproom in Downtown Quincy on every second Wednesday of the month, 4-7PM, from June to October.
