MICRO BREW BEER TASTING... More than 25 Micro Brew Pubs North from Alaska, South to San Diego and East into Nevada and Colorado provide at least 60 beers to sample.

ORGANIC & DOMESTIC WINE TASTING... For those who would rather sample wines while your friends taste beers enjoy a collection of fine organic and domestic wines.

EVENT ADMISSION
is $5 FOR ADULTS &
$1 FOR CHILDREN

A $30 per person TASTING PASS gets you tasting between 1 to 5pm and includes a souvenir glass.
Plumas Arts members pay a discounted price of $25.
Event admission is included in the price of the Tasting Pass.

& THE KNOCKOUTS

R & B Blues Latin Reggae featuring Norton's unbelievable harmonica and soulful, powerful vocals

Regarded as one of the most versatile and talented harmonica players in the music business, Norton Buffalo is widely acclaimed as the finest multi-genre harmonica player of our time. For the last 30 years Buffalo has been a highly celebrated member of the Steve Miller Band.

In addition Buffalo has also been highly sought after as a recording artist, having played on over 125 albums by artists as diverse as Bonnie Raitt (he did that searing harmonica solo on "Runaway"), Kenny Loggins, The Doobie Brothers (including the Grammy Award-winning "Minute By Minute"), The Marshall Tucker Band, Johnny Cash, Kate Wolf, David Grisman, Kenny Loggins, Juice Newton, Laurie Lewis and Elvin Bishop. Norton also stays very busy performing and recording with several of his own diverse musical ventures.

BANANA SLUG STRING BAND

The Banana Slug String Band is a group of lovable musicians and educators from the coastal redwoods of Northern California. Entertaining children of all ages with vocals, guitars, mandolin, bass, harmonica, banjo and percussion, Slug songs range from rockin' boogies to sensitive ballads; folk songs to reggae and rap. Music, theater, puppetry and audience participation create a fun-filled learning experience.

If the weather does not allow the event to set up outdoors, it moves inside to the Serpillio Hall.

THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE EVENT...

This event is the primary FUNd-raiser for Plumas Arts, the region's most active community cultural programming agency and largest membership organization. Plumas Arts provides art education in county schools, supports local artists, produces the county events calendar, manages a gallery featuring local art, produces festivals and events that bring world class performing artists to our rural stages as well as operating the only movie theatre in the county.

Enjoy an evening of culinary delights at Pangaea Pub on Main Street in Quincy beginning at 7pm.

A 5 Course dinner will be paired with 5 Russian River Microbrews.

Each course introduced by the Brewer and Chef Mindy Lowry. With much of her training coming from her time spent in Hawaii, Mindy specializes in that delectable area where the sea meets the sauce. AMERICAN VALLEY GROWERS 3rd ANNUAL HARVEST RUN

Saturday, October 18

All ages and levels welcome. Races start at Plumas County Fairgrounds.

Start times: 10K at 11:00 am, 5K at 11:30 am, 1 Mile Run, Bike or Skip Kids Fun Run at 11:45. Pre-register to guarantee long sleeve shirt day of race.
