Mountain Harvest Festival
The Mountain Harvest Festival is a full day of activities that captures the charm of our rural mountain town; samplings from award-winning Western US Micro brew pubs, world-class Music, Hot Air Balloon Rally, great items for Silent Auction, family fun and new this year: an organic and domestic wine tasting.
All of this is set against a backdrop of the glorious colors of a High Sierra Fall.

Essential support for the Mountain Harvest Festival is being provided by Pacific Gas & Electric. Plumas Arts also wishes to thank American Valley Aviation, Plumas Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative and Plumas Bank for their support.
All the activities at the fairgrounds go on rain or shine. If the weather does not allow the event to set up outdoors, it moves inside to the newly named Mike Serpillio Hall, formerly known as the Commercial Building.

THE BREWTASTING... More than 25 West Coast micro brewpubs North from Alaska, South to San Diego and East into Nevada provide at least 60 beers to sample.

A $30 per person Brew Pub Pass gets you tasting between 1 to 5pm and includes a souvenir glass. Presale-only discounted admission for Plumas Arts members is $25.

NEW THIS YEAR… A WINE TASTING

For those of you who would rather sample wines while your friends taste beers, QUINCY NATURAL FOODS has organized a collection of fine organic and domestic wines.

THE DAY BEGINS
WITH A MICRO BALLOON RALLY
To mark the start of this festive event Plumas Arts has arranged something pretty special. Hot air balloons are scheduled to take to the air from the Quincy Airport- weather permitting of course. Look up just after sunrise on Saturday, October 13th and you will see a sky full of color and floating poetry. If you have a camera, this will be a great opportunity to get some incredible shots.

Plumas Arts wishes to thank Epilog Books, Mike and Valerie Nellor with Ada's Place, the Gerry Johnson Family of Greenville and the Monroe Family of Meadow Valley whose sponsorship is making this portion of the Mountain Harvest Festivities possible.

One balloon is still available for sponsorship. Find out how you, your business or organization may sponsor one of these balloons for promotional credit and a chance to soar above Quincy on a fine Fall morning by calling (530) 283-3402.

BREAKFAST GOODIES & HOT BEVERAGES AT THE BALLOON TAKE OFF will be provided for sale at the Airport, from 7:30 to 10am, by the QUINCY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
